Paul Denlinger is the founder of ChinaBridge Digital Marketing.
He started his advertising career working with Ogilvy & Mather, working on accounts including BMW, IBM, Intel and Acer. Bitten by the Internet bug, he joined Sinanet, the US predecessor to Sina.com, now China’s largest online news media site with more than 650M registered users. Later he moved to chinadotcom, the first China-play Internet company to list on NASDAQ, working in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Taipei as their VP of product management. He also served as an advisor to the executive team for investments, and recommended its seed-round investment in Shanda Interactive Entertainment, which listed on NASDAQ in 2004, and developed into the largest multi-billion dollar gaming company in China. He is an excellent writer, has been named Top Writer six years in a row on Quora, the popular question-and-answer website and has more than 38K followers on that website.
Paul is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, and has worked as a Chinese-English translator, and has been a member of the American Translators Association. On his own time, he developed a Facebook Group to help non-Chinese learn Chinese(Chinese Language Proficiency Test Discussion Group), which now has more than 35K members.
Paul is also technical, and is Google-certified for Adwords.
As China and Chinese consumers become more influential worldwide, he wants to help in their globalization. ChinaBridge is his effort to help businesses make the digital connection to Chinese consumers through Baidu, Tencent’s WeChat, Sina Weibo and other online media.
